Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Blanche LLC (“Me.thod”, “we”, “us”), the operator of the Me.thod mobile application and the website at smartmethod.app (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Health and medical disclaimer — please read carefully
Me.thod is a fitness and information tool, not a medical service. The training programs, weights, repetitions, articles, and other content are provided for general informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Consult a physician. Consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have or suspect any medical condition, injury, are pregnant, or are taking medication.
- Assumption of risk. Strength training carries inherent risks, including serious injury. You voluntarily assume all such risks. Use proper form, appropriate equipment, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort, and seek medical attention.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for selecting weights and exercises appropriate for your fitness level and for exercising within your own limits. Me.thod’s automatic recommendations are estimates and may not be suitable for you.
4. Your account
You may use parts of the Service in guest mode. To back up and sync your data you can create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (see Section 9).
5. License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. All intellectual property in the Service — including software, design, text, programs, and content — belongs to Me.thod or its licensors and is protected by law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security; (c) use it for any unlawful purpose; or (d) attempt to access data that is not yours. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Some features are offered as paid subscriptions. Where applicable, purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; billing, renewals, price changes, and cancellations are managed through your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable.
8. User content
You retain ownership of the data you enter (such as profile details and workout history). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and back up that data solely to operate the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app, which initiates deletion of your associated personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate the Service, or your access to it, where reasonably necessary (for example, for legal, security, or operational reasons).
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Me.thod and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any personal injury, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
